Tried to buy cutlery on boxing day. The staff were pushing us towards purchasing a cutlery set that was much more expensive per unit. When i asked if the recommended set was a better bargain, the response was disappointing and rude..to top it off, the cutlery i ended up with were a mix of entree, table and dessert spoons... when i had clearly asked for help picking out table forks, knives etc. No thanks House, you do not deserve my business.

Went to get a Gift Voucher for Wedding.Sorry we don't have any Gift Vouchers, ran out before Christmas....So had the money to spend and in 2022 , modern technology , you have no back up to print a voucher????

The staff are extremely nice and helpful. Karli I believe her name was, was absolutely fantastic, she helped me find exactly what I needed. On top of that the place is clean and tidy, I would recommend going here for all of your kitchenware needs.

I got a paella pan and after the first use the steel went off and it’s completely ruined! When I was buying the lady said no returns/refund so I didn’t even bother saving the receipt and looking at the reviews Im definitely not going back there. I DO NOT recommend this store, go to somewhere else

I recently went into a local House store (gateway shopping centre, Cockburn) to spend some birthday cash. When I went to pay with cash, they said sorry we are a cashless store. This is unacceptable. You have lost myself and the lady in front of me who also wanted To pay cash as customers. Won’t be returning till you accept cash. If I understand Correctly it’s in our constitution to accept cash, therefor saying your cashless is against the law, you have to accept cash.Won’t be visiting your stores again.

We visited the store and after buying a dinner set the girl at the counter was very nice and offered to gift wrap it for us. However another lady who appeared to be the manager tells us that they can’t wrap the set because it is Thursday evening. Pretty poor service. And there was just one other person shopping in store at the time so the explanation that they don’t gift wrap during busy times was baseless. But that is not the point.If you have a facility to wrap purchases then don’t make excuses for not doing so. And who will drive back another day to get the product gift wrapped as suggested by the manager ? !! Won’t be going back there for sure !

Great experience, The store had just the item I was looking for and satisfied my craving for kitchen utensils. The staff was lovely, especially the girl with the ginger hair. Will come again!
